This year, the team has dedicated itself to lessening the detrimental impact that this sport has on the environment.  Beyond the individual efforts to reduce our own carbon footprints, the team calculated the combined environmental impact.  Armed with the knowledge that we generate somewhere around 3.8 tons of carbon dioxide gas a year, the team has taken a proactive approach to solve the problem.  We plan to plant 100 trees to offset the footprint of the team -- an effort that removes 20 tons of carbon dioxide gas from the atmosphere.
